The vet gave him a shot and he has amoxcycillin to take for the next week or so- but is there anything I can do? He’s very lethargic. A cool towel on his head or anything extra to make him more comfy?
thanks ynot- he has a throat infection- it is giving him a fever and making him sick to his stomach from swallowing the infected mucus
DP- I don’t own a thermometer but the vet said he had a little fever. He felt warm to me but is doing alot better now- he seems back to his normal hyper self.

I have an 11 month old Olde English Bulldogge. Since I got her, her ears have always been cold to the touch. For the last 3 days they seem hot to the touch. She regulary (twice a week) goes to doggie daycare and for about 3 weeks had very very soft stool . For the past week her stool has hardened some, but I am just scared she is ill. Am I paranoid or is she sick?

Answer by goober28718 Have your vet take a look at her. Did she recieve ALL of her vaxcines as a puppy? Is the day care place clean? Learn to take her temp, ask your vet.

She has bin sick for two days and it is flu like symptoms. She is strainig to go to the bathroom and when she does it is and accident in the house it is runny slim-my ,yellowish brownish and greenish and recently i have notice blood. Which alarms me!!!!!!!!! She is on her menstrual cycle but it is in her stool not just around it. I feel bad she slept all day yesterday and vomited when she tried to eat so i boiled hamburger and rice and she kept that down. After i gave that to her she seemed better but last night she had two accident and another today. If i bring her to the vet for the flu can they even do anything or should i just let it take its coarse because my other dog had it for a day and it passed.
