Dogs and cats do get colds. They are usually viral or bacterial in origin. However, if signs continue for more than a few days you should seek veterinary attention. Mild “cold-like” symptoms can be the first signs of a more serious illness.

yes i believe so. i know people who have given thier dogs cold medicine but to what brand or dosage i am not sure and would not suggest guessing and doing so. if you suspect your dog is ill take him/her to the vet and get proper treatment.
