How long is the dog flu expected to last?

Just curious if anyone knows how long this canine influenza is supposed to be around for?

Haven’t heard it’s shown up here in the US. I guess it will depend on how effective the antibiotics are and just how quickly it will spread.

I had never heard of it til recently when a Internet friend said her dog had been sick for 2 weeks. The vet told her it had to run its course just like in humans. It sounds really hard on the dog, I hope it is short lived.
