my 3yr old son is throwing up and has foul-smelling stool (not diarrhea), is this the stomach flu?

my son has been throwing up last night after complaining about stomach pains…and he has thrown up like 3 times during the nite when he had nothing in his stomach, he was basically throwing up
bile. any clue? rota virus? salmonella poisoning?
i know he had a corn dog at the mall and when he came over later, that’s when he started vomitting after he had his dinner.

its probably not the flu. its probably just a 24 hour stomach bug… make sure he gets plenty of fluids and try a mixture of pedialyte if you think he’s getting dehydrated. check for a fever every now and then and if it doesnt get better in a day or so call your pediatrician.

btw i thought all stool smelled foul lol
