Press Review: Led Zeppelin Metal Destroys Indianapolis Indy will never be the same. The metal munchers, Led Zeppelin, saturated Market Square Arenas 17000 plus crowd last Saturday night with high-powered music and vocals. Its been 18 months since this supreme band of raunch has toured. Leader Jimmy Pages searing lead guitar and hairy-chested Robert Plants wailing voice dominated. Led Zeppelins tour is pushing a new album, Physical Graffiti, which will be released in early February by their own label, Swan Song. At times, Robert Plant showed the vocal fatigue brought on by a touch of the flu. His usual high-pitched voice has steady, but obviously lower. Nothing though could slow down Plants St. Vitrus prance. Arriving at 8:30 pm from Chicago, the group barely had time to catch their breaths before hitting the stage. Among other backstage memories, the sight of little Jimmy Page sucking back on a quart of Jack Daniels black label whiskey stands out. Security was tight. Even the five or six silk-clad groupies had a difficult time getting close to their favorite band member. Three black limousines poised backstage for a quick exit. Definately one of my favorite EVSD releases ever. Sound quality is simply stunning. Although comparing it to Presence’s raw master, which surfaced online on August 10, 2007, there is no difference whatsoever in sound quality. But Presence’s release had many digital clicks, crackles, and pops. EVSD’s release doesn’t seem to have as many. Also, on EVSD’s release, they did screw up the tracklisting on the second disc partially. On the artwork, it shows a separate track for the Keyboard Solo, but on the disc, the Keyboard Solo is blended with Thank You, and the Organ Solo is actually Heartbreaker. Kind of odd, but let me assure you, THERE IS NOTHING MISSING. THIS RELEASE IS COMPLETE. Also, one more thing, I don’t think I would call it an Organ Solo, because JPJ ditched the organ solo by 1971 because it sounded too “churchish” for him. He actually did a Mellotron Solo, so I would probrably call it a “Mellotron Solo

…Have people in your area been ill as well?
I never get sick and spent three days sick as a dog last week. How about you?

Best answer:

Answer by Ozzie
I live in upstate N.Y. and the strain of flue that has been going around this year is brutal. Many of my co workers and friends along with my entire family have come down with it. So far I have not caught it, knock on wood. I credit it to working outside all day, I think the cold kills a lot of germs.

What do you think? Answer below!
