Dog Flu Treatment

Question by Giant Taco that craps Ice-cream: My roommate wants a dog, I don’t want to. What now?
Well, I’ve moved away from my ex-girlfriend Sarah since she cheated on me with my best friend Duane. I then moved in with a girl named Daisy so to share the costs.

Daisy is a really great girl – it doesn’t go further than friendship, you know – she’s a great cook, a true friend, patches me up after skateboarding accidents, she stands up for me since I myself am against violence, she is kind and caring, she stood by me when I was ill (flu, just normal one, don’t worry), she is the voice of reason in our ‘household’ and can stop me from going back to my ex to talk to her.

So she’s done quite some things for me, but now she wants a dog. I am terrified of lightning, bamboo and – yes – dogs, so I don’t want one. However, objecting to it after she’s been so nice towards me makes me feel like a prick. What to do?
China Rican, I’m just terrified of Bamboo. Why are some people terrified of water? They don’t know either, do they?

you sound like a friendly bloke
and you have alot of common sense
maybe you should discuss your fear of dogs to her and if she is all u said then she will understand
but make sure you lay it out nicely and tell her its because ur afraid of them and not because you don’t want her to have one

My roommate has just been exposed to a lot of people who’ve had a highly contageous stomach flu. I’m TERRIFIED of getting it. Aside from hand washing and cleaning surfaces are there more things that I should be doing? For example can I get sick by sitting on the couch after him? Laying with my dog after she’s been with him? How long till these germs die?

Wash your hands with proper soap not just soap.try to air your place open the window(I know it’s cold)if he’s coughing tell him to cover his mouth.clean your food and dishes well after touching things don’t put your hands to ur mouth.wash your clothes don’t wear them twice.generally avoid being really close and to get multivitamins to strenghten your immune system.don’t sleep in the same room don’t share anything and clean your toilet with bleach!
