Question by Nicole: My dog has a fever, difficulty getting up,and hasn’t peed since yesterday?
He is a 12 year old golden retriever mixed with chow. He has an infection and cries all day from pain. He used to pee, but hasn’t since yesterday. Something is wrong with his kidney but we don’t know what. We took him to the vet and they gave him acepromazine to make him calm. He can only eat soft food and is always thirsty. I just want know why he can’t pee?

Answer by a Is he in kidney failure? Did you run a blood panel to check his kidney values? If he is in kidney failure that could cause him to drink alot and not urinated. He could have bladder stones or cystitis(bladder inflammation/infection) He needs to be seen if he hasnt urinated in 24 hours. He could die from that. I would take him to the vet asap.

We dog has been sneezing alot lately since we brought him back from the kennel, he has also been very antisocial. All he does since we got him back is just lay in bed. His weight has also gone down about half a pound, he weighed around 7 pounds. Does he just have a gold, or is it something more serious, maybe he has allergies?

Answer by Vet Tech Sounds like he could have picked up a Upper Respiratory Infection! Time to call your vet and set up an appointment!

An excellent show, even though Robert’s voice is severely damaged by the flu. The band is on fire here though! Dazed And Confused has some truly savage playing and the rhythm section owns this show, even though Jimmy plays very well too, especially on the last three numbers. A complete soundboard show except for Rock And Roll missing as the first song … Robert’s voice is gone but this is a really great instrumental concert. I was there. I was in my last year of school and queued up with friends from 6.am to get the £1 tickets. I remember the crush into the box office was ridiculous. The show started at 7 and we all thought they would never start on time so got there a few minutes late and they were on stage already! My seat was in the mid-stalls towards the left-hand side. They were’nt that loud (unlike Rainbow who were deafening). The crowd were ecstatic – one girl in front of me spent most of the gig screaming ‘Robert Plant Marry Me’ – which seemed more like something you would shout at …
She needs to be kept hydrated, she’s just gotten better from a real bad case of rat poisoning. Now she’s really tired and has a fever and she needs to be kepy hydrated, but she only will eat popsicles and ice cream. Are popsicles okay?
