Everytime I give Lucy, my Boston Terrier a bath she gets to excited. Today she was so excited that she couldn’t stop sneezing. I guess got a little water up her nose.

the many adventures of Zeus the great dane. sweet, sweet angel dog, protector of the home, the cats, the kids, destroyer of the yard, the pillows, the stuffed animals, every dog bed we ever bought… we’re even pretty sure he made the snow shoe cat, Dip Stick, deaf, by picking him up by his head! The cat didn’t seem to mind! Not sure who’s dumber… Then came LOLA… da da dum dum dummmmmmm The demon seed, the devil child, the spawn from… well you just can’t imagine!!! Poor poor Zeus, she eats his food, takes his toys, makes him sleep on a hard floor so she can have BOTH dog beds!!! SHE jumps the fence, JUMPS on people, doesn’t listen! In short A TERROR! And we got her to settle Zeus down! HAHAHA JOKES ON US! Enjoy the video… I’m going to open a bottle

As you know most of us this week have been letting off fireworks, playing with sparklers and roasting the guy on the bonfire. However, my dog Hugo had quite a petrified experience of it, and has now become almost agoraphobic. Hugo may look tough on the outside but but he’s scared of mostly everything look at the emotion he shows. Btw Hugo is a thoroughbred staffie I hope to post some more videos of him soon, hopefully of him looking more happier lol.

Question by Lavender L: my rat terrier just had puppies 3 days ago, should I give her childrens cold & flu, or atibiotic medicines?
She is almost 2 years old on her second litter of puppies. She had 3 pups with her last litter 7 1/2 monthes ago & 1 was stillborn. Well she had her second litter 3days ago & this time she has 4 puppies. I was with her through all their births, but had 2 work the next day, so my husband watched them, well when I checked on the puppies the next day I noticed tht mommy dog kept holding the puppies by their mid sections in her mouth. So when I examined them I noticed that they were breathing squeakily, so with a closer look I saw that their little nostrels had a bunch of snotty gunk almost blocking their breathing, I then used a clean washcloth & warm water to clean them up & remove the stuff. I also used a buger sucker bulb syringe to remove any out of their noses. Well later that day I noticed mommy sneezing a lot & coughing too. She had snotty gunk all over her nose so I cleanded her up also. All this was yesterday. She acts like she has a cold & im a little scared the pups might too. So would giving her medicine help her & the pups? This is all new to me & I have seen & helped alot of different animals with child birth.& i have kids, so I have cold medicine. I even has some old prescription antibiotics. I can not afford to take her to a vet right now. By buget is so beyond fixed right now, & there arnt any vets around where I live, that will see her or the pups without a credit card, postedated check or cash deposit, I have researched far & wide & Its all up to me.

VET…newborn puppie and human medicine is probably not a good idea…especially if you HAVE NO CLUE
