Question by steviesgrl_143: my dog is sick. vomiting, high fever, high liver enzymes?
My dog has been sick for about 3 days. She has a high fever and is lathargic. Vet says her liver enzymes are off the charts.
She peed the bed last night cause she couldn’t even move. There is also a white line on her belly. Please does anyone know what this could be? even just an idea would be helpful. She is about 10 yrs old but was in good health.

I took him to to vet 3 days ago and after that he is better and yesterday I took him there again and now he just keep vomiting and got fever. What can I do now? I dont think take him to the vet again is a good solution.
no emergency vet available here
yea he got 3 shots for each time I took him to the vet. Until now totally it is 6 shots that he has taken. and he just avoid drinking milk too. Normally he likes milk. He couldnt eat anything. So I give him milk. and when he see it, it is like he get scared of it. I dont know what to do. If he dont take the milk he would be starving cause didnt eat anything from last night (now it is noon) , and keep vomitting

Question by Samantha C: my dog is 15, last week he had a bad cough and he was vomiting and had diarrhea?
my dog is 15, last week he had a bad cough and he was vomiting and had diarrhea, this week he has no cough or diarrhea, but he is not being himself, he is laying down a lot he is still drinking water but not eating. we didn’t want to take him to the vet because we didn’t want them to say we should have him put down. is there anything the vet can do besides that?
Best answer:
Answer by DP You don’t know what the vet is going to say until you go in. If the vet suggests that you put the dog down, then it’s the humane and right thing to do. Keeping a dog alive when he is suffering is abuse.

Best answer:
Answer by Tanya sometimes it’s not a virus… but the large amount of saliva that is swallowed can cause some vomiting or diarrhea…
my daughter didn’t really vomit, or spit up so much, but when she was teething badly, she would almost always have much runnier stools and need rash ointment!!
