The animal shelter here has had manny out breaks of dog flu and has put down most if not all of the dogs they have there. do we just go and drop her off or put an add in the paper and see what we come up with. I think you owe it to your dog to make an informed decision about her next home. Choose carefully. Make a list of what would be the ideal home for your dog and make questions for potential owners. Do the interviews at the potential new home- that way you will get to see for yourself. Try to make sure that she is going to a new home that is stable- no more moves for your dog. It is very difficult for a dog to be passed person to person. Good luck to your dog.

If you want to be picky about where she goes then the responsibility is squarely on your shoulders. Shelters are a LAST resort.

Give her to a friend! or does that only work with cats and budgies? You know what I’m talking about Janeway!
